Dedicated by the Colorado Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans, 2003." Below that dedication are two engraved Confederate flags; the border of the leftmost, a Confederate Battle Flag, is engraved with the words "Sons of Confederate Veterans 1896," and in the center of the flag on the right, a Confederate Navy Ensign, are the words "Colorado S.C.V.". Forty two red-brick pavers, each engraved with the name, unit, and dates of service of a Confederate soldier, create a path to the base of the flag pole. No soldier whose name is engraved on a brick is buried at Riverside Cemetery, however at least seven other Confederate soldiers are buried there.
