Description
Light grey marble pedestal with round, cast bronze, horizontal sundial with 4 AM to 7 PM hour lines marked with Roman numerals, located in Denver's City Park. On the east side of the marble pedestal is a bronze relief portrait of Abraham Lincoln located above an engraved inscription naming the donors, the Daughters of Union Veterans . The west side of the pedestal is engraved with a United States flag and the text, "Our Fathers Saved."

Inscription
Engraved inscription on east side of pedestal reads, "Erected in Memory of Our Fathers by the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861 - 1865" The west side of the pedestal is engraved with a United States flag and the text, "Our Fathers Saved." The face of the bronze sundial reads, "Clear Is the Bugle Call; Steady the Footsteps Fall; Veterans, Heroes All; Pass in Parade. Jean Bosquet"
