Camp Lacey Bucks County's own 104th Vol. Regiment est. a Civil War military tent city here in 1861. Their training completed, 1,049 men led by Colonel W.W.H. Davis, departed the Doylestown train station to join the Army of the Potomac. Doylestown Fair In 1865, following the Civil War, the town's first fair was organized on this site. One of North America's premier fairs until its demise in 1891. The last remaining fair building was razed in 1997 for student parking. Dedicated Sept. 18, 1999
